1. after you. 那个男士回答说:i do this not because you are a woman but because i am a man!i love this guy!

2. i just couldn''t help it.
i was deeply moved by the film and i cried and cried. i just couldn''t help it.

3. don''t take it to heart.
this test isn''t that important. don''t take it to heart.

4. we''d better be off. it''s getting late. we''d better be off .

5. let''s face it.
参考例句:i know it''s a difficult situation. let''s face it, ok?
但是犯了错误,你必须面对他,let''s face it,或者是:let''s face the music.

6. let''s get started. 劝导别人时说:don''t just talk. let''s get started.
let''s get started.
let''s start.
let''s do it right now.
let''s hit sth.
let''s rock&roll.
let''s put our hands on sth.

7. i''m really dead. 坦诚自己的感受时说:after all that work, i’m really dead.

8. i''ve done my best.
这句话,很有用,失败有时难免,但是你要是可以说,i''ve done my best.or i spare no efforts.

9. is that so?

10. don''t play games with me!

11. i don''t know for sure.
stranger: could you tell me how to get to the town hall?
tom: i don''t know for sure. maybe you could ask the policeman over there.

12. i''m not going to kid you.
karin: you quit the job? you are kidding.
jack: i''m not going to kid you. i''m serious.

13. that''s something.
a: i''m granted a full scholarship for this semester.
b: congratulations. that''s something.

14. brilliant idea!

15. do you really mean it?
michael:whenever you are short of money, just come to me.
david: do you really mean it?

16. you are a great help.

17. i couldn''t be more sure.

18. i am behind you.
a: whatever decision you''re going to make, i am behind you.

19. i''m broke.
i am penniless.

20. mind you!
模范例句:mind you! he''s a very nice fellow though bad-tempered.

21. you can count on it.
a:do you think he will come to my birthday party?
b: you can count on it.

22. i never liked it anyway. 当朋友或同事不小心摔坏你的东西时就可以用上这句话给他一个台阶,打破尴尬局面:oh, don''t worry. i''m thinking of buying a new one. i never liked it anyway.

23. that depends. (on sth)
例:i may go to the airport to meet her. but that depends.

24. congratulations.

25. thanks anyway.

26. it''s a deal.
harry: haven''t seen you for ages. let''s have a get-together next week.
jenny: it''s a deal
电影里经常听到,it''s a deal,that is a good deal.

1. I'm so fed up with your BS. Cut the crap.

"Cut your crap."

2. Hey! wise up!

当别人作了什么愚蠢的事时, 你可以说, "Don't be stupid" 或是 "Don't be silly." Wise up, please.

3. Put up or shut up.

Put up or shut up. Put up or shut up.

有时为了要加强 shut up 的语气, 老美会把它说成, shut the f**k up. The house on the haunted hill

这句话也让我想到一句成语, walk the walk, talk the talk, 也就是说到就要作到,有点像是中文里知行要合一的意思, 或是只说, walk the talk 也可以.

4. You eat with that mouth?

还有一种说法, "You kiss your Momma with that mouth?"

5. You are dead meat.

或是像这样说 "You are dead meat."

6. Don't you dare!
How dare you!

或是 "I double dare you."

7. Don't push me around.

Don't push me around. 通常当我讲 "Don't push me around." You are so bossy. I don't like that."

或是 "Don't push me any further." 例如, "I know why you are doing this, someone is pushing your button!"

8. Are you raised in the barn?

No backyard language in my house."

9. You want to step outside?
You want to take this outside?

Do you want to pick a fight?"
或是 "This means war."

10. You and what army?
You and who else?

要是有人跟你说 "Do you want to step outside?", 就回他这一句吧.

还有一句话也很好玩, 叫 "Who's side are you on?"
