Projects pushing the state-of-the-art forward include face detection and tracking, face modeling and recognition, cartoon generation, video summarization, 2D and 3D object tracking, image and video retrieval for object tracking, image and video retrieval for MSN, and Xbox camera based game interfaces.
Roles & Responsibilities：
We’re looking for top students on video face recognition. The plan is to first join a project on video face recognition for smart messenger, which is needed by our product team; then we’re looking forward to doing some research work in this area, tackling some basic issues, such as pose, illumination, motion, on video face recognition.
Now, we already have a demo for video face recognition, and done some work on this area, and we expect to make it better, and improve the performance based on an intensive investigation in this topic. After that, we sincerely hope we can prepare 1 paper in this area for ICCV 2007.
Required Qualifications：We are looking for
