THE JOB
• Work on a variety of tasks that span a bridge between leading-edge research and the development of relevant medical imaging applications.
• Additionally, participate in medical imaging research design, data collection, choosing and implementing appropriate methodologies, and interpreting the results.
SKILLS
• Strong research and working experience in image processing, image analysis, computer vision, scientific visualization, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, and/or statistical analysis (experience in medical imaging applications a plus).
• Strong programming skills (Visual C++, MFC, OpenGL, Open Inventor desired).
• Strong real-world problem solving and communication skills (both Chinese and English).
• Self-motivated, innovative thinking, and fast prototyping ability
• Teamwork and scientific curiosity are also crucial.
EDUCATION
• Doctoral or master degree in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, physics, physiology, mathematical sciences with strong publications or/and working experience in the area of medical imaging.

Your Responsibilities:
- Research and develop new medical information technology (IT) applications.
- Develop system architectures that can support cost-effective deployment of medical IT.

Your Profile:
- Experience working with and developing new medical IT applications.

Your Profile:
1.Experience with modeling of physiological processing, preferably in cooperation with medical doctors.

3. Scientist
Your Responsibilities:
In a Stroke emergency, currently hours are lost before therapy because the current diagnostic capabilities in an ambulance are not extensive enough. It is still impossible to differentiate between a blot clot and a vessel rupture as the underlying cause for the Stroke outside a hospital. If a rupture could safely be ruled out, immediate on-the-spot therapy by thrombolysis would be the method of choice.
We propose to set up a prototypical system that could be further developed into an emergency kit for ambulances. This will deliver a 3D map of the brain derived from Bioimpedance tomography signals of a stroke patient to determine if thrombolysis is advisable.
The main tasks in this project will be on the modeling and simulation side. In the first state, numerical field simulations must be carried out and verified with measurements. The second part will be to reconstruct an image from the measured values.
Your Profile:
•Good knowledge in elctrodynamics.
•rogramming experience: C, C++, Java, preferable with experience in numerical field calculation.
•Experience working with medical signal processing, preferably experience working in cooperation with medical doctors.
•Experience working with and developing new biomedical equipment.

THE JOB
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to design clinical imaging research studies that may show the seriousness of particular clinical tasks in need of new image-based technology solutions, predict the clinical impact of specific technology solutions, evaluate new medical imaging software in assisting clinical planning, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up tasks, assess the safety and effectiveness of new medical imaging software.
• Additionally, participate in research design, data collection, choosing and implementing appropriate methodologies, and interpreting the results.
SKILLS
• The ability to skillfully report, research, analyze, and present technical information.
• A strong knowledge of bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and SAS programming.
• Teamwork and scientific curiosity are also crucial.
• Strong communication skills (both Chinese and English).
EDUCATION
• Requires a master's degree with 3 years experience minimum or doctoral degree with 1 year experience minimum in public health, medicine, or biomedical engineering
