PURPOSE
The IASTED International Conference on Control and Applications (CA 2005) will act as a major forum for international researchers and practitioners interested in all areas of control and applications. It will be an opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas. All papers submitted to this conference will be peer evaluated by at least two reviewers. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution.

CA 2005 will be held in conjunction with the IASTED International Conference on Modelling and Simulation (MS 2005).

LOCATION
CA 2005 will be held in the beautiful resort city of Cancun at the luxurious Westin Regina Resort. Fourteen miles of sugar-white sand, lapped by the turquoise and emerald waters of the Caribbean, make Cancun one of the world’s most popular travel destinations. Besides its superlative swimming and snorkeling, Cancun is also the gateway to the ruins and cultural treasures of Ancient Mexico. The nearby city of Chichen Itza, with its 75-foot pyramid built in honor of the god Kukulcán, is the most famous Mayan cultural site in the world. Another notable site nearby is the ancient walled city of Tulum, believed by archeologists to be an important ceremonial and trade center for the Mayan people. Cancun also boasts many ecological wonders, including the nearby Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and the coves and caves of Xcaret.

2004中国控制与决策学术年会（16th CDC）论文集已进入Ei检索系统。2005年会（17th CDC）论文集正在积极申办中。

论文要求：
1、具有较高学术水平，内容充实具体；
2、未在国内外发行的期刊和全国性学术会议上发表或宣读；
3、全文不超过5000字（含图表所占字数，插图限3~4幅）；
4、写作格式参见2004年论文集或《控制与决策》；
5、摘要应体现四要素：目的、方法、结果或结论，中文以100~150字为宜，摘要和关键词均需译成英文；
6、来稿请注明“CDC'05 征文”字样，并请标明原稿属“征文范围”哪一类文稿；
7、写清第一作者详细通讯地址、邮编、电话、电子信箱；
8、来稿一式两份，用Word或方正排版，可以通过电子信箱投稿；
9、本会不退稿。
