Some people favour long vacations because they can have enough time to do things that cannot be finished within a short period.During a long vacation,they may make a complicated experiment, carry out an involved investigation or go to a faraway place for some necessary field work.Taking a full time job to earn money for one or two monthsis another benifit the long vacation provides and sometimes a good academic thesis with a considerable length needs a long vacation.

Those who prefer short vacations also have understandable reasons. For two or three weeks' rest is adequate for students to 刷新 themselves without forgetting the lessons that are to be continued next semester.Short vacations also mean to rest three times a school year and short semeters.To study in this way is easier than to study for a long exhausting time with many courses and lessons crammed together.

One the whole,either long or short vacayion has its advantages and disadvantages.What matters is how to make use of it.

随着改革开放的进行，人们的生活水平提高了，许多大学生选择住在学校外面。这很快就成了人们谈论的焦点，那么，我们应该住在哪里了？
对于同一个问题，不同的人有不同的看法。在这个问题上，大部分人是反对的，但是也有比较多的人极力主张应该由自己做选择。
反对者们提出了许多理由，首先，住在外面不安全，他们认为大学生还是弱势群体，经常有大学生被抢劫的事情发生。第二，他们认为没有学校的
约束，学生们会变得懒散，还经常去网吧玩游戏，将严重影响学业，甚至失去进取心。最后，允许校外住宿是对男女学生同居的默认和纵容。而赞同者则提出了相反的理由，他们说，第一，我们是成年人，有面对社会的能力，没有也是走进社会时候了，我们不能永远呆在父母和学校的保护下。第二，如果在外面住，会有一个安静的环境，更有利于学习，可以好好地想自己的问题，而学校就不行。最后，学校的饭菜味道很不好，而且特别贵，这样在外面住不仅舒服，有自己喜欢的饭菜，还比较经济，何乐而不为了。
最后，我要说，我的同学们，大胆的走出去，到外面的精彩世界中去学习，锻炼，挑战。

I see the living outside school

With the development of reform and opening,the people`s living level has impoved.
Many college students live outside school.very soon,it becomes a focus of talking by people.
Now,where should we live?
Different person has different opinion.Most of people are against about living outside school.However ,many of them hold the opinion that we have freedom to choose our own live.
The opposed offer many rearons about it.Firstly,they think that it is not safe enough outside.Clloge students are the weaked ones, often they are robed of .Secondly,they think that the discipline of school are void outside.The student may be tend to be lazy,often go to Internet bar to play PC games,and it will affect study seriously,even lose the spirit of gumption .At lost,Allow it is conniving at the sexy.
The approved give the reversed reasons.At first ,we are adult,we can responsible for our does.We can`t always rely on parents and school.Then,if we stay outside,it is more queit and more benefit to study,and think things freely.Finally,the food in school is really bad.What`s more,it is expensive.When we live outside ,we can eat delicious food,more cheap and free.It is comfortable！
Now ,I want to say, my classmates,go，out to the wonderful world,for study 、exercise and challenge !

　　Upon graduation, virtually all college students will confront the problem of the career choice. It is truly a tough choice. Students’ opinions differ greatly on this issue. Some hold that priority should be given to their interest in jobs, but others take the attitude that salary is the most critical factor influencing their career choices.
　　As to myself, I prefer the latter view. A well-paid job exerts a tremendous fascination on a great number of people, with no exception to me. Although it might be impossible to measure the value of one’s job in terms of money, salary counts most when I choose my future career. In my view, our career choices largely depend on how and where we have been brought up. I come from a poor urban family and my parents were both laid-off workers. In order to finance my tuition, they have been working hard over the past four years. As the only son in my family, I have to shoulder the burden of supporting my family.
　　In short, salary is the first and only consideration in my choice of career.
