Daniel Powter，这个总是戴着一顶毛线帽和一脸颓废表情的家伙，来自加拿大英属哥伦比亚（British Colombia）的Okanagan山谷。作为一个歌坛“新”人，34岁似乎有点儿太老了，但对Daniel Powter来说，“Bad Day”已经过去，好日子才刚刚开始。

人们最早认识Daniel Powter就是从这首“Bad Day”开始的，去年这首歌被可口可乐选为广告宣传曲，之后Daniel Powter的星途就开始大放光芒，一连攀上多个排行榜，在欧洲大行其道，成了各大电台热播的单曲。不过Daniel Powter真正引起世人关注还是在今年7月柏林的Live8演唱会上，在那场打着拯救贫穷旗号的豪门盛宴上，Daniel Powter第一次在全世界面前自弹自唱，那一天再次成了Daniel的“Best Day”，随后就有了这张同名专辑。

华纳在华语区对这张专辑几乎就没做任何宣传，所以网上关于Daniel Powter的中文资料并不多，而且大多都是Copy & Paste华纳的专辑介绍的，互联网其实就是个大传声筒。再看看华纳对起笑蛙的宣传攻势，这年头，会唱歌的人真是还不如会叫唤的青蛙吃香，不过我始终坚信好音乐一定不会被埋没，这是一张反复听也不容易审美疲劳的专辑.
